About

It’s unlikely that you don’t know me personally and yet landed up here. But if you did end up being a part of the rare probability distribution, here is a brief about me.

My name is Swagat Saurav Mishra. I am a theoretical Cosmologist working as a PhD Research Scholar (Senior Research Fellow, CSIR) at the Inter-University Center for Astronomy and Astrophysics (IUCAA), Pune, India. Even though I am interested in almost all of Physics, I mostly think about the whole universe as my physical system starting from its birth to the origin of the seeds of all the structure (Cosmic Inflation) to structure formation along with the composition of the universe like Dark Matter and Dark Energy.
Apart from Physics, I love Mathematics, Music, Puzzles, Cricket, Swimming, Cooking, trekking, traveling to remote and scenic places and biking.
Currently I live in Pune though I am originally from Charbatia, Cuttack, Odisha, India.

If you have not seen me, here is the result of one measurement at ICTP by a CCD (belongs to my good friend and physicist Dr. Ramit Dey) that resulted my state to collapse (??) as :-
